We’re holding our annual Peace Partner Drive and I’m working to “clone” myself by finding a friend to also give monthly at that same amount or higher. I thought that you might be that friend.

Like me, you know that if we can learn how to resolve conflict before it erupts into violence, we can save countless lives and billions of dollars. *  Professional grassroots organizing training and staff support at six regional conferences across the nation 
*  Launch of a new PSA and educational campaign, showing people how they can help reduce and prevent violence
*  A presence at the Democratic and Republican National Conventions, including active media strategies (we currently have a space at the DNC and need grassroots help and connections to get the same at the RNC!) 
*  Increased focus on sophisticated lobbying strategies, helping Congress understand the importance of having increased civilian peacebuilding capacity in the US government
*  Increased support for the Student Peace Alliance, which in just over a year already has more than 60 chapters in high schools and colleges across the nation.
*  Planning and implementing the 2009 National Conference, which expects to bring at least 1,000 people to Washington, DC, to lobby for peace
