The Peace Alliance featured in "Dream of a Nation: Inspiring Ideas for a Better America" Book!

We are excited to share that The Peace Alliance is featured in a new book entitled "Dream of a Nation: Inspiring Ideas for a Better America." 

Last Summer we were asked to submit an essay for the book's "Waging Peace" section, focusing on both a U.S. Department of Peace and why the work and cause of peacebuilding are so important. The book is now out and available for order!

We hope you will consider getting a copy today.  All the non-profit organizations who are a part of the book, including The Peace Alliance, will receive significant royalties from sales.  It makes a great gift, for the holidays or anytime.  It's a beautifully crafted full-color book, full of inspiring graphics and artwork and de­dicated to bold solutions and quickening the pace of change.

The work brings complex issues to life and explores how we must put politics aside and share the task of rebuilding the economy, strengthening community, re-imagining business, removing money from politics, re-establishing more media integrity, revitalizing education, repowering America, ending poverty, waging peace and much more. 

At this unique time in our history, with America facing so many opportunities and challenges, we are proud to be a part of a book focusing on the 'big picture' and how our most pressing issues interlink with each other.
