There is a tremendous amount of data tracking violence and its impact. It's especially valuable to find resources describing the impact of violence in your own community. Below are some sources that we or volunteers in the Campaign for a U.S. Department of Peace have found useful.

National Priorities
The National Priorities Project analyzes and clarifies federal data so that
people can understand and influence how their tax dollars are spent.
Types of things you'll find here:
- Interactive chart showing how your tax dollars were spent
- Interactive Trade Offs database showing how tax dollars were spent, and what else could have been provided if money were reallocated from certain expenditures to community needs. Can be detailed from community to county to state levels for most areas.

State Master
