(sign in at 9:00am)
Agape International Spiritual Center (in the Sanctuary)
5700 Buckingham Parkway, Culver City, CA 90230
Featuring Wendy Greene, Managing Director, The Peace Alliance
There is a federal bill now in Congress to establish a cabinet-level Department of Peace and Nonviolence whose fundamental purpose would be to reduce and prevent violence by addressing root causes and expanding our ability to resolve conflict before it erupts into violence. Internationally, the Department will provide the President with a full array of options for nonviolent resolution to conflict and sophisticated peacemaking strategies for post-war stabilization. Domestically, the Department will expand our ability to address and prevent drug and gang violence, school bullying, prison reform and domestic abuse.

WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
"The current crisis in our democracy has less to do with Congressional failure to express the will of the people and more to do with failure of people to express their will in a meaningful way."
~ Marianne Williamson
