Student Peace Alliance groups are active on 78 college and high school campuses across the country!
Concordia College Students at their Night of Peace event
Student Peace Alliance organizations advocate for the legislation to create a Department of Peace through grassroots action and education. On campus, students hold events to educate the student body about violence issues in the community and the successful prevention methods that a Department of Peace will support. They work to create an environment on campus that enables an open discussion about peacebuilding on both the domestic and international levels. Students also work with the local DOP state campaign to lobby Congress about HR 808, the bill to create a Department of Peace.
