On March 3, 2008, the City Council of Albany, CA unanimously endorsed
House Resolution 808, calling for establishment of a U.S. Department of
Peace and Nonviolence and voted to urge California Senators Barbara
Boxer and Dianne Feinstein to introduce companion legislation in the
